A city, a museum, a tourist site, a place in the countryside can be experienced through all the senses, not just with the view. During a multisensory tour you can have the opportunity to touch local works of art, such as the fountains of the districts of Siena participating in the Palio horse race and the sculptures in the shape of animals that decorate them. You can smell the plants that grow in the area, you can taste typical foods and wines, you can experience the changes in climate and humidity from an external place to an internal one – as happens, for example, when visiting the numerous caves that hide in the subsoil of Siena. You can abandon yourself to listen to the guide’s story.

Even blind and visually impaired people can experience a full city tour. In fact, do you know that white and dark green marble have a different warmth? Would you like to go to a local bakery and smell the panforte and ricciarelli and maybe taste them? Have you ever heard the sound of a Palio drum or silk flags moving in the air?

Multisensory tours are open to everyone, although small group visits are recommended. For information just contact me at the following email silvia.roncucci@gmail.com or by calling the telephone number 00393334589271 (also whatsapp).
